Do you love music, fun, and most of all, food? If you answered yes to any/ all of these, you may want to check out the Taste of Colorado in Downtown Denver next summer. The Taste of Colorado is a huge festival where hundreds of food vendors set up stands and give you the chance to sample their foods, but it isn’t just about the eating! At the Taste of Colorado, you’ll also have the chance to listen to bands from all over the state, go bungee jumping, entertain your kids, and even see a fireworks and light show.
When you arrive, you’ll be prompted to purchase sampling tickets, with which you can try tastes from any and all of the vendors at the festival. These tickets are fairly inexpensive and can get you anything from a gourmet lollipop to a fully loaded hamburger. Be sure to come hungry!
Vendor Booths include, but are not limited to,
Colorado Buffalo Grill
Island Oasis Smoothies
Hard Rock Café
And so many more! In addition, don’t miss out on the many different types of music, ranging from bagpipes to rock bands and everything in between. This year’s festival featured bands such as The Country Music Project, Two Girls with Guitars, Dances of Bollywood, The Wallflowers, and next year’s is sure to include many more exciting, talented bands that are sure to leave you dancing in your car seat on the way home.
If you’ve got your kids in tow, be sure to swing by the KidZone and the Carnival Rides and Games, where they can create arts and crafts, climb all over a fun children’s playground, strap into a thrilling bungee-jumping trampoline, or clamber through an exciting obstacle course.
