Use an old-fashioned “stick” about 1 ½ inches in diameter and 2 feet long that you find at the campsite or you can bring personal sticks made from dowels, labeled at the end with your child’s name if you prefer.
At the campfire, butter the doughboy end of the stick and using crescent dough, roll a piece into a tube that is sealed at the ed. Rotate/toast over the fire for about 5 minutes - until it’s brown and easily slips off the stick (careful - they’re hot). Slide the dough off the stick, fill and enjoy!
Add mini marshmallows, toffee bits and milk chocolate chips while still warm
Fill with pudding when cooled down. Frost with chocolate frosting for a yummy éclair experience.
Dip in butter and cinnamon sugar. Then fill with apple or cherry pie filling for a yummy pie right out of the fire!
